I offer a free phone consultation so you can get a sense of whether we would be a good fit. It is also an opportunity for me to hear a little about what’s bringing you to therapy and whether or not I’m the right therapist for your needs. If we decide to work together, we can schedule your initial appointment at a time that work for you.
Some people prefer the convenience of having therapy via an online video platform. Tele-mental health is confidential, provides the same service as office visits and it’s becoming more common, especially here in the Bay Area. It can save time and make getting to therapy easier for you. This might be a good option if you live far away, have a very busy work schedule, mobility issues, young children at home, or just don’t want to deal with the hassle of transportation. As long as you live in the state of California, we can meet for some or all of your sessions via video. I offer this service for individual sessions or parenting consultation only. If you’d like to explore this option, please ask.
Individual, Family and Parent/Child therapy rates range between $150 to $225.
Session length is typically 50 minutes but longer sessions are available if needed.
Group Therapy – $70 per week for 12 weeks with option to extend.
Group therapy sessions are 90 minutes.
I do not directly accept most insurance. However, I am a licensed “out of network” mental health provider and many PPO’s will provide you with partial reimbursement for out of network mental health services you’ve paid for out of pocket. I can provide you with a monthly “superbill” which you can submit directly to your insurance company for reimbursement. I encourage you to contact your insurance company directly to explore whether you have this type of coverage with your plan.
At least 48 hour notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling. If you do not attend your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified me at least 48 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
